The steel barrel and base give you assurance of longevity without the addition of lots of weight. The heavy-duty rubber covered steel base allows for a sure footing even on the most uneven of ground while the large gauge can be read even in lowlight conditions. The dual valve head simply unscrews and reinserts for differing valve stems. This allows for the head to be smaller and provider a higher quality seal on the valve.
